Utah College of Chiropractic Orthopedics
Objectives:
- To establish minimum educational and clinical standards in the specialty of chiropractic orthopedics.
- To determine that candidates desiring certification, recertification and accreditation by the IANM (International Academy of Neuromusculoskeltal Medicine) and its affiliates and/or equivalents have satisfied requisites of professional education and experience as stated in these Codes, Rules and Procedures in force at the time of application.
- To assist as needed in helpting develop certifying examinations and recertifying examinations and accreditation activities consistent with the prevailing trends in specialty practice.
- To cooperate with IANM certifying examinations for the purpose of evaluating all candidates for their proficiency in chiropractic orthopedics.
- To encourage certification and MOC Maintenance of Credential with the IANM
- To provide avenues for recertification and accreditation for all interested.
- To protect in every proper and reasonable way the professional welfare and interest of the Diplomates of the IANM.
- To promote, encourage and educate the public in the benefits, wisdom and advantages of using a chiropractic orthopedist and neuromusculoskeletal specialist.
